i've been reading my friends entry for a couple of months since coming back from UK..and i came to realize that my own blog havent been updated since like God knows when!! so, its again blogging time whenever i'm idling in the office...hehehe.....cheers!!

hehehehehe....i've been updating my blog on a daily basis in my head !! ..... it's more like monologue....hehehehe.....nak kata busy sgt dengan budak2 nie, tak le juga...still got some free time to laze around...tapi ntah la... a lot of things been going on in my tiny mind....memikirkan dah nak balik ke Malaaysia tak lama lagi..(Yahhoooooo!!!...big Yahoooo!!!)....and picking up where i left off..especially home and job...

ok...lets just share here what i've been doing for the past month...we had our 'Cuti2 Scotland' vacation early May...had a blast, took gazillions of photos and visited plenty of historic places here....it is literally historical scotland as they say it...We visited Linlithgow--Stirling-Glencoe-Fort William-Loch NEss-Inverness-Aberdeen-Dundee-St Andrews...It took us 3 days ...tak la besar sgt scotland nie...tp its natural beauty and wonders....MasyaAllah....it really opens up our eyes and mind...Allah SWT Maha Agung...Let me give a quick sum up on the places we have visited.

Linlithgow & Stirling-Small town, comel, clean, few castles (Stirling castle & Wallace Monument)...next is jalan kampung all the way nak ke Glencoe (try to google up these places punye photos...mmg breathtaking!!)...just one radio station...itu pun dalan bahasa Gaelic(mcm dialek tempatan diorang laa...) ade a bunch of makcik singing in choir...hehehehe...pening...we made a couple of pit stops...but to my amaze....kat area jalan kampung tu, their public toilets are clean!!!!..Alhamdulillah, thoughout our tour, Sarah n Hassan tak meragam@muntah2....they're bunch of angels!!Next, we conquered Glencoe...kawasan gunung2 banjaran ben nevis & lembah yang cantik...weather was bit cold and mendung...made a stop for few snaps and stopped at a commando monument....jalan2 in scotland is kinda easy actually...signages are good...easy to find tourist attctions ... makanan Islam tak susah cari, but in areas with no muslim population, u can always look for vegetarian foods or cereals..or salads or seafood....fort william is a town tepi tasik...but it looked like pekan tepi laut!!...they got ferry and yatch parked alongside the river...the town was adorable...no muslim...no wonder the people pelik tengok orang pakai tudung...heheheheh....got to visit a few more castle...the train station here famous for the train they used during the Harry Potter movies....tp tak dpt nak tengok, coz its departed....pandai diorang jaga national heritage dia..Jacobite rasenye nama train tu....huhhhh...panjangnye......

its end of spring time...and into summertime!!! ...huh...its kinda boring la pulak, coz all the pollen n debu flying outside could cause u health hazards like hayfever , flu, skin rash etc....so, its indoors again...i wonder, when do we really go outdoors here????

well, couple of friends went down to birmingham last week...cant help but to kirim these darlings with them...never had them before...mom, are these enuff??...they said if u went down to the factory outlet by urself, u might get overboard on buying these stuff...huhhh.....i remembered a friend here asked me wether im a big fan of tableware? coz theres so much nice n fine collection that can be bought over here, without spending a fortune if we wanna buy it back at home..so i just told her that im not really into the habit of collecting dishes..she then replied, well, if dont have it yet, u'll develop one soon...guessed it true then....the price gap is sooo big, i sumtimes gawk...hehehehehehehe....still, im just an average fan of these stuff...got more better things to look for ...

ok...up there...it aint no giant muffin....hehehehehe...its a gula hangus cake...i was having one of those cravings for malaysian dessert..so i decided to take matters into my own hands..hhahahhahaha...lucky they turned out well..(with some guidance from mom !!)....and the rest of the neioghbourhood said they tasted nice... :-) (they'rejust hungry...heheheh)...

last weekend we all went deep into the woods and discover a very big carboot market down in Lanarkshire (sounds very LOTR..) and we even stumbled upon Hagrid's Hut , the shed they used as Hagrid's home in the Harry Potter movies...its a round white hut..cute...the market was fun though, well they better be coz it took us 1 1/2 hours drive to get there..heheheh...lots of antiques and home stuff and kids stuff...and the weather was great ..its 18 degrees with mild winds...so, its considered warm...no, hot !!hehehehe...tak tau la nnti balik KL cemana...heheheh...will post some photos later...if i can find where the kids sorok our camera....

it's been two foggy days over here....very poor visibility..i bet there might be some flights delayed too..coz i see the airport from here...hheehehe...since its too foggy to travel, we've been hibernating at home...hence some baking occured...guessed many things can be done when theres not much to be done....i made some bread pudding!! apparently my favourite dessert after cream caramel, green guey stuff and goreng pisang...darn, thats a lot of dessert !! heheh...and nothing beats a cup of hot tea with ur loved ones to kill time..tv over here is quite the same back home...5 public channel (sometimes great shows...sometimes just makes u wanna throw the tv outside the window)...glad we had cable tv...babah will be watching his cult show X-Files while i wonder its like dejavu watching it many years ago...i'll be watching countless news, dramas, reality shows,crime shows and just plain dumb english soap....

nope...not me....hair dressing here is way toooooo expensive..i'll just keep it long for a while...it's babah, hassan & miss Sarah..and me, the barber!!! heeheheheeh....developed some skills here..and below are the results.....haircut, anyone????.....

boots...most useful during winter...and add inches to my heights!! i cant seem to find them in other colours that i like...
shoes to match any occassion !! huahuahua...
the grey ones are very comfy n flat, most suitable for events that includes shopping or shoe testing....blacks are for exercising...hehehe...and brown ones are used in snow...huhhh...told u shoes are needed for everything u do!!....

since i got plenty of time, i've been keeping them in tip top condition...(sounds like i'm trying to sell them??)...noo..at least not yet...as for my make up collection tag....thats what i'll do next..

love....love....love........it makes the world goes round....or was it money???....yeahh....whatever....this subject has been sticking at the back of my mind for quite some time now..coz a dear friend of mine just got divorced recently...and shes left to handle her beautiful child by herself....well, cant say much about jodoh...its ketentuan Allah swt......but i feel sad for her being left in Malaysia while her ex-husband went working abroad and got himself someone else in the process of 'i'm doing this all for my family' thing.......well life is complicated enuff...i pray that she will be strong and InsyaAllah she will find jodoh in the future....thats about it the whole story sharing about someone else for today...dont wanna be some kak nab or something.....huhuhuhuhu........i'm just beginning to understand the amount of faith and effort needed to keep a family together....great job mom and dad!!! theres always gonna be a silver lining every now and then...but remember that we always have Allah swt to turn to and family ot seek help ..... xoxo !!!!hahahaha.........

oooppss... almost forgot, my babah also finished his classes for his Masters programme, now is his exam season and dissertation completion......best of luck honey !!! and me n the kids are being ohhh sooo helpful by giving him mental support n stuff...

domestic diva in training...

when i was about to do nothing after finished cooking n cleaning, a very lonely fruit basket just stared at me .... theres bunch of bananas (bananas here just dont go rot that easy...), three apples and an orange...not really in the mood of eating them, babah suddenly stumbled upon this orange cake recipe that seems to be able to do some justice to the lonely orange...just to show what we can do with an orange, internet recipe and some brand new kitchen helper babah just got me for mothers day !!!

yeahhh....sure...whaatever....theres not even an animal in sight!!

hahahaha....it was mothers day last 2 weeks..22 nd march if i wasnt mistaken...we went to Edinburgh Zoo (sponsored by UMNO la..)...i think there were around 20 families altogether...mothers day?zoo? cant seem to figure out the resemblance...but anyway...it was a great trip..we were tooo busy walking around and looking for animals, we forgot to take a lot photos..the zoo was overeall nice, clean, a lot of animals, but most of them are still hibernating due to the cold weather that day!! it was soooo windy, it became very cold...lucky i brought my jacket. Babah meanwhile thought it was an OK weather, so he decided to wear like we were in Malaysia...and ended up shiovering inside, but control macho outside!!hehehe....just one thing i wanna ask the zoo designer...why the *** did u guys build the zoo on a slope that is sooo steep with fancy pathway that just couldnt grip with strollers?? just imagine trying to move in such windy condition? nasib la ayang ade nak tarik ....if not i'll be blown away with the stroller masuk semak mana tah...heheheh.....photos on facebook la as usual...heheh.we were so tired after the whole trip, i misplaced our digicam and thought i had dropped it somewhere in the zoo!!..i was so sad that we no longer have our dear digicam..but pheeww....after 2 weeks of searching, we managed to find it !!just underneath the passanger seat..heheheh.....pheewww again......Happy belated mothers day!!

missing home....

i've made a totem pole !!!

i was ok n happy when my mom n dad was here together with my family for the past 3 months... i had all the help needed to manage the home and the kids...hehhehehe...and i always feel my family close to me coz we can call home anytime, talk to my sisz nawal in saudi anytime and updates on my sisz and bros at home...and now the time finally came.....my mom n dad already went back home...and i'm officially full time housewife !!! .... darn it wasnt easy multitasking home n kids stuff at once.....but i'm trying, still am....lucky got reza to help me with sarah being the occasionally angel, making mummy's task easier....as for Hassan, he's been trained by atuks to be super manja and berdokong all the time...so, there goes...asyik melalak jer kalau tak dokong...guess he's missing atuk so much !!

mom n dad went back home on the 17/3/2009...reached Malaysia safely after almost 15 hours on board flight D7....and they adjusted well. Alhamdulillah, all the time they were here, my only concern is their healthcare...ubat habis ker, tetiba tak sihat ker..Alhamdulillah again, they were ok..just minor cough n cold n some pening2 lalat....

when i think about home....i think about moms kitchen and everyone sitting around the kitchen table, eating whatever mom cooked or waiting for mom to cook something...hehehehe....when im around my mom, i just dont wanna cook, coz i want to eat whatever she cooks ....hehehhe.... here, i had to cook everything from scratch!!heheheheh....a daunting task, but i'll manage...theres always online recipies to follow...

guess that being apart form your own family makes u appreciate your loved ones more ..... its good to know they're doing fine at home........

windy days ahead !!!

yeah.....its still winter....and today is nothing different...ayang had to brave the wind to go to school...and abah too had to brave the wind to go for friday prayers...me, mom and the kids just stayed indoor. we sat and danced around the mini heater..naaahhh !! just kidding...few days ago Hassan was unwell, he had a bit of high temperature, around 38 degrees...me, as usual; my panic button went off...Alhamdulillah, semuanya dah ok....not forgetting ayang, who just got hit by the so called 'winter bug'..where he pooped and sneezes and  coughed continuously for 5 days....kesian...i attended to both of my sick dearest untill they feel better.Alhamdulillah my antibodi is strong enuff..(i think so..)...every morning i watched the weather forecast for the day, expecting it not to rain, but to snow!! my prayers got answered last week..well, i told u already bout that, rite??

i'm looking forward for some pleasant activities this weekend...i'll give more details next week, aye!..got to check out hassan, he's singin'already.....cheers!!

Oh..owh.....here it comes.....

It finally hit me....the idle bug....heheheh...i've been out of job for almost 4 months now..(not really out of job...more like a year long vacation)...been quite a milestone for me though...gave birth to my beautiful son, Hassan Naufal, confinement for 2 months, hop on the next flight to Edinburgh with my kids and mom, dad comes along and join us, did some touring around here, hang out with my family, waiting for my sisz Nawal to come and visit us.....and.......now comes the silent part....i do nothing....hehehehe....except being a full time housewife...a nanny, kitchen officer, floor engineer, bed warmer, baby doctor, blogger, financial officer, lover and ebay bidder....hahahah...its a dirty job, but somebody got to do it...did i say i missed my job?? maybe....hahaha...i actually dreamed about doing my office work..hahahaha..how pathetic was that?..well...i still got eleven months to go before i return to the usual office life...bet i'm gonna be transferred to another office by the time i got back...its about time for a change  anyway....now back to my idle bug issues....i also think that i'm missing Malaysia, missing my siblings and their antics, friends back home, friends at office and even the foods over there ( i didnt say i missed my job, rite??)....huh...like my sisz once said; an idle mind is a devil's playground.....most of the time i got things to do around the house or around town...since its noe Malaysia, and its winter time...so the daytime are shorter and theres isnt much of fun (define fun = ade laaaa) stuff to do...but sumtimes i do feel like i'm not really doing anything now...what am i suppose to do anyway??..hehehehe....takkan la nak p sightseeing hari2 ?? bankrap la beb....hehehe....well, no decision yet about what i'm really doing here, so, i'll just keep it all moving on a daily basis..hahaha...bukannya tak tahu nak buat ape, originally i applied for a one year leave with the excuse to accompany my husband and take care of my kids (the whole family bonding stuff, my boss once gave me that idea) ....hehehe...and that is exactly what i do rite now...am i not fit to be a fulltime mom? why am i too worried bout this?...i dont know yet...still trying to...is it that difficult to lepak all the time, watch my kids grow and nurture them with love, not to think bout office stuff, eat and sleep and jalan2 when you want and go dating macam muda2 dulu with dearest hubby ...does it sound difficult to do ??.......i'll update more later when i finally figure it out..maybe its the best opportunity given by Allah SWT for me to reflect on my life and what i've been doing all this while...a chance to look back, learn and move forward with life...at least that is what i could come up with at this moment...cheers all !! ...

A.B.C & cendol.......stuffs we missed...

"Nooo...mak tak tipu...betul snow..."..mak actually said that befor i finally decided to have a look at the windows, its been a couple of times mom did that to me, and there's no snow..hehehe...guess i wanted it so bad, they all start to make fun of me..hehehe..it was 19 january 2009 when it finally happened....haaahahahaah...it was one of my reasons why i left my job for a year...lame though, but i loved it.......nothing magical nor glamorous...i just wanted to play with the snow!!!...hahahahahah.... and i got it...i'm thankful that i'm able to share this wonderful experience with my family; my children, hubby, mom and dad...i wished my siblings and the rest of kajang clan could be here..missed them a lot...hahaha...just typical me, being all quizzy and mushy inside..we danced and jumped and run (not really dancing lah..) in the snow...took photos and just stare at the window untill it almost stopped snowing..one of the millions wonder of Allah s.w.t creations...MasyaAllah...reminds me back then during christmas season, when everyone here was hoping for it to snow...but it didn't...pity them..hehehe...people here didnt fancy snow that much though, coz its the aftermath is not something u wanna see...when it snowed, roads become slippery with the ice, then the wind plus snow makes it difficult to drive etc....then after the ice started to melt, it all become slushy and black...eiii..geli aku...heheehhe....and all the icy thingy kinda got me to miss ABC and cendol at home...what else i missed back home? plenty...its the life i had....but once we decide to move on and make changes, we  need to learn to adopt to the changes and embrace it...hope i got it all right...InsyaAllah...

2008 end ...2009 begins....

Been a while again since my last entry...a lot had been going on my mind, but haven't got the time (or maybe enuff effort??) to do the writing....hehehe...anyway....its new year, gregorian or hijrah...means new resolution...i normally make new resolutions every year...but this year, i decided to recycle a few of my old ones...hehahaha..seems likely they're easier to compile all the resolutions then complying to any of it..let's not try to wonder what are my resolutions...it may make u to raise ur eyebrows and cause unnecessary wrinkles..hehehe....

i'm already here for almost 6 weeks and we've been visiting few places around edinbvrgh (they pronounce it as 'Ae-din-bregh''.seen beautiful historical sites, car boot sales and mall with bargains.....but we cant go anywhere far coz its still winter..with freezing temperatures and ghastly wind going around....most of the time we're indoor....eating (creepy thought...) but we had good food..i mean great food !! since most of the time was my mom's cooking...heheheheh...(soo sorry sisz Billa and bro Ama !!for borrowing mak and abah for a few months)...mak and abah seems to have plenty of time to relax and nothing much to bother about...at least that how i see it..hehehehe...i know they really REALLY really missed home and everyone in Kajang (Especially Nabilla - hows the food there ? ur studies? i know u do great...(hang on a bit more,sisz)..hehehe..Amar - got a job alrealdy?? Ame - are u eating alright?, Aina - what are u up to now? Zaid - how tall r u? Along n Kak Long - is the house under control? hehehehe..and a bunch of question...well, they'll be back home soon..

during the new year's eve, me and ayang planned to go and see the Hogmanay Celebration .. its the nu yerr eve'celebration in Edinburgh...its one of the many celcbrations they have here ...edinburgh is known for its long list of celebrations and festivals..i heard it was a fun and colourful event in below freezing temperature..but, that night Hassan got tummy ache, so he cried and refused feeding for almost 5 hours..i almost got into my panic mode....luckily Ayang and mom are cool...finally his tummy ache resides.., but its past midnite..hehehe..so, happy new year !!
